02.120.0214 Anchor bolts at block walls

This detail shows various anchorage conditions of structural steel to concrete masonry, illustrating anchor bolts into the top and sides of the masonry. In each condition, the anchor bolts are sufficiently embedded in the block and encapsulated by grout 1 inch min. all around the bolt. The masonry is grouted and reinforced vertically and horizontally at designed intervals. This detail as shown is intended to illustrate a general concept or method of construction.
